Futures Markets We Trade

Direct access to the global futures markets — equity indices, interest rates, currencies, metals, energy, and agriculture — across CME Group, ICE, Eurex, and the major international exchanges.

Wisdom Trading is an NFA-registered Independent Introducing Broker. Since 2003 we have given systematic traders, managed-futures investors, and commercial hedgers professional execution across the world’s most liquid futures markets, cleared through three top-tier FCMs — R.J. O’Brien, StoneX, and Phillip Capital. We have no proprietary trading desk, so your orders never compete with house positions.

Why market selection matters

The market you trade is as important as the system you trade it with. Liquidity, volatility, trading hours, and correlation all shape how a strategy behaves in practice. Deep, liquid markets keep bid-ask spreads tight and slippage low; diversifying across uncorrelated markets smooths the equity curve and reduces the chance that any single market can sink a portfolio. The pages below break down the markets we trade most and what you need to know to trade them well.

Markets we trade

Equity Index Futures

E-mini and Micro E-mini S&P 500, Nasdaq-100, Russell 2000, and Dow, plus global index futures including EURO STOXX 50, DAX, FTSE 100, Nikkei 225, and Hang Seng. Used for directional exposure, portfolio hedging, and index spreads.

Metals & Commodities Futures

Precious and base metals (gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper), energy (WTI and Brent crude, natural gas, refined products), and the full agricultural complex — grains, softs, and livestock.

Contract Specifications & Margins

A practical reference on contract sizes, tick values, trading hours, and how futures margin (initial, maintenance, and SPAN) actually works — so you can size positions and manage risk correctly.

Exchange access

Through our clearing FCMs we provide direct market access to CME Group (CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX), ICE U.S. and ICE Europe, Eurex, Euronext, and major Asia-Pacific exchanges including SGX, HKEX, OSE, and ASX. Specific exchange and product availability depends on the clearing relationship best suited to your strategy. See our Direct Market Access Brokerage page for platforms, routing, and commissions.

Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. The risk of loss in trading commodity futures and options is substantial and is not suitable for all investors. Contract specifications and margin requirements are set by the exchanges and FCMs and are subject to change.
